Have you been in situation this before?

Published by tclian under Blogging

One important thing that a blogger must do is to read others blog. Sometimes we find many great posts from many bloggers. We admire blogs with high traffic, many comments and many RSS subscribers. We wish we could have a success blog someday but looking back at our blog we feel disappointed. We still have not achieve anything in the blog. We begin to doubt at ourself.

Will I have a success blog? Should I waste time on things that I’m not really good at? Should I let go now before I waste too much time? We have this feeling because we afraid to fail. We afraid we need to have many failures before we can success. We afraid we might give up when we have too many failures.

At this moment, you just need to do your best you can. Stop thinking whether you can have a success blog or not. Enjoy and learn what you can in blogging. Do whatever you need to do everyday for your blog. Be more alert to the changing in the blogging world. Have a clear your blog goals and remind yourself about your blog goals everyday.Do not that let feeling haunting you, it can really demotivate you.

What to do when things not working according to the plan

Published by tclian under Blogging

Before we start a blog, we make plan for the blog. But sometimes things just not work out according to the plan. We all do not like things out of control. Instead of not doing anything about it or giving up, why don’t we just look at the problems.

● List all the things that go wrong. For example,
-  Low traffic
-  Lack of exposure
-  Lack of social networking

● Analyze each of them
You need to find out the root of each problem so that you are able to solve them.

Low traffic
- Seldom visit others blog and link to others blog
- Seldom leave comments on others blog
- Seldom update the blog

Lack of exposure
- Not active in promoting the blog
- Not submit the post to blog directories.
- Not joining or active blog communities

Lack of social networking
- Not active in finding blogger friends
- Not active in communicating with other bloggers

● Take your actions
Plan what you want to do on each problem. List out all the steps that you need to take to solve the problem  and set your time for them

Low traffic
- Leave comments on five blogs each day
- Visit or read 5-8 blogs each day
- Write 3 posts for the blog every week

Lack of exposure
- Submit post to blog directories that recommended by other bloggers
- Join more blog communities
- Find more blog communities or blog directories that suitable your blog niche

Lack of social networking
- Make 2 friends in StumbleUpon everyday
- Go and search for blogger friends that has same blog niche like you
- Communicate more with the existing blogger freinds and ask comments from them about your blog

When you implement your first plan, normally it does not work smoothly. You need to modify it until it works. So keep doing and you get the great result.

Which language should be used for blog?

Published by tclian under Blogging

I like to look for blogs with different niche. And I discover there many blogs out there using different language besides English. I can found blog in Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Russian and etc. I can understand blog in Mandarin, English and Malay but for other language I have no idea what they are talking about. This prompt me a question which language should be used for blog.<br />&nbsp;
Most people will either choose to use their native language or English for a blog.

Native language
This is the language that you learn at home and you use it to communicate with your family and friends. People will choose native language for the blog. Because they have more confident in using this language to communicate with others. They can express and write well by using the native language.

English
This is the second language which we all will consider to use in the blog. English is international language and it is widely used in everywhere and in any situation. You can find English in everywhere. If you want more people to read your blog, this is the language which you need to use. This is the language that you can use to communicate readers from around the world.

There is no rule on which language you should use for your blog. But there are one thing that you need to consider if you choose to use other language besides English for your blog that is the readers. Most readers will understand English even it is not the native language for them. But if you want to use other language besides English, you need to look for readers who can understand the language you use. More readers mean high traffics. High traffic can affect you making money online.

My first week in blogging

Published by tclian under Blogging

Still remember your first week blogging. Is it terrible or fantastic week? Well, I had a hard but enjoyable week. Below are the words that I going to use to describe my first week blogging.

Many don’t knows
- Don’t know which plugins need to be used in word press
- Don’t know how to gain exposure for my blog
- Don’t know where to make blogger friends
First week in blogging reminds me my first weel in school. I have many things to learn.

Many editings
It is not easy to become a writer and English is not my main language. I need to do a lot of
editings whenever I finished writing a post. I need to correct the grammatical error, typos and spelling errors.

Many works
- Find the suitable plugins for my blog
- Learn how to gain exposure
- Find and make blogger friends
- Learn to make some time in everyday to read RSS feeds and others’ blogs

Very busy
- Busy reading others’ blogs and leave comments
- Busy making blogger friends
- Busy writing posts
- Busy thinking topic to write

To include blogging as a part of daily life is not easy for the first time. But when you get used to it, you find it enjoyable.
